Christmas Lunches
We will be serving a Christmas lunch menu every day from Sunday November 29th through to December 24th. The price will be the same as that for all our items on the lunchtime menu.
We are already taking a great deal of bookings for lunch parties throughout December, so if you have a party of more than four people we would definitely advise you to book well in advance. Anyone who wishes to visit for Sunday lunch in December is advised to book in advance. Past experience has showed that it can be very busy on Sundays before Christmas.
If you belong to a company club or society that is looking for a venue for a Christmas Party or Christmas lunch we can cater for any number between 2 and 85. Some days are already booked and we expect to have a very busy festive season, so if you have a particular day in mind, please get in touch.

Party nights are priced at £19.95 per person. This includes a three-course meal and disco until midnight. We would advise people to arrange transport home prior to attending. Overnight accommodation is available close by at Kings Court Hotel and Coughton Lodge.
Some of these dates are filling up quickly, so if you have a particular date in mind, please get in touch. Menus are available from this website or from the pub. We are happy to take provisional bookings, but theses are only confirmed when we receive a booking form and £10 non-refundable deposit for every person attending. Dinner is served promptly at 8.00PM so we recommend that people arrive by 7.30PM to get a drink and relax.
We would also recommend that organisers keep a copy of the booking form as guests have often forgotten what they have ordered once they get here!
Christmas Day Lunch MENU
As usual we will be serving lunch on Christmas Day. There will be one sitting at 1.30PM. Space is limited as we only cater for a maximum of 40 on Christmas Day. We want our guests to relax and not feelthey are being herded like cattle. We close briefly for about an hour and reopen Christmas evening at about 7.00PM. Bring some snacks and enjoy a very informal atmosphere on Christmas evening!
Boxing Day
Unfortunately we are not serving food on Boxing Day, but we will be open between midday and 2.00PM for a festive drink before the traditional jaunt to the Rugby Club!
New Years Eve MENU
As in years gone past we are returning to our traditional style New Years Eve Celebrations. There will be a special three-course dinner served at 7.00PM (pre-booked only) or a buffet at 8.30 in the function room. Both meal options include entrance to our disco which will provide entertainment until 1.00AM. Don’t worry we won’t be closing then if you would like another drink, we just have to respect our neighbours and turn the disco off!
Private Functions and bespoke menus
If you require any additional date for a private party, either at lunchtime or in the evening, please contact us as soon as possible. I have to inform you that December 23rd is already fully booked both at lunchtime and in the evening.
