Psychic Investigations We know our pub is haunted, too many strange things have happened over the past five years to be a coincidence, so we are currently undertaking investigations. Once these have been completed we will be holding psychic suppers and inviting you to see for yourself after the midnight hour! Games Room The games room is beginning to take shape. Previously the Cavalier bar and restaurant we already have a championship dart board, an authentic bar billiards table and a flat screen tv for sporting occasions and special events shown on terrestrial TV. We also have a professional Karaoke system that will soon be available. We are also going to provide equipment for traditional pub games such as Cribbage and “Shove a ha’penny”. If anyone had any further suggestions please let us know. As we now have a dartboard we will be aiming to join a local league and will therefore be looking for people wishing to join the Moat House darts team. We hope to have a well-stocked library by the middle 2010 and have already collected a great deal of books. The idea is to encourage people to enter in to a book exchange, where you can bring a book you wish to donate to the library and take one away at the same time. Classic Car Club South Midlands Classic Cars continue to meet here during the Summer months on the last Thursday of the month. The first meeting this year was on 30th April 2009. Dates for 2009 are as follows 30th April 28th May 25th June 30th July 27th August 24th September VW Owners Club Redditch VW owners club, also known as ‘Ditch Dubbers continue to meet here every other Wednesday and have a rally on the first Sunday of the New Year. End of season Steam Rally Last year we had an end of season rally, which was a very successful event and this will be repeated in the Autumn. Please watch this space for the date New Years Day Vintage Tractor Rally 1st January 2010 may seem a long time in the future, but the Moat House will be full. The first event of the year proved to be hugely popular last year, so get here early to grab a seat. Doors open at midday! Steak Nights Steak Nights are held every Thursday and Friday, where you can get great quality steaks at a very reasonable price. An 8oz Fillet steak or a 16oz T-Bone will only cost you £9.95 with other steaks available (every Thursday and Friday 6.00pm to 9.00pm). “Eat as Much As You Like for £3.95” Monday nights Chilli con carne, curry and stew will be available every Monday between 6.00pm and 9.00pm and you can have as many plates as you like for £2.95 per person. Camping and Caravans at the Moat House Are you in a caravan club? We have the facilities you club may be looking for and a price to match.
